Stuart Spence Jones, PA
Stu Jones is a P.A. with advanced training in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine as weil as Emergency Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery. Stu enjoys working in all areas of Orthopaedics, particularly pediatrics and sports medicine, not to mention the occasional “weekend warrior”.
Stu was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended college on a basketball scholarship at Southern Nazarene University from 1987-1989 and finished his undergrad/grad education at the University of Oklahoma college of Medicine with a BS/MPH as a Physician Assistant in 1993. After graduation, he moved to Franklin, TN where he worked on the medical staff at Williamson Medical Center in the Emergency Department until 2000. Since 2000 Stu has been in private practice specializing in Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Stu has assisted in the care of many athletes in Middle Tennessee at all levels and continues to work closely with several local High Schools in the area.
Stu is married with 2 sons, Spence and Price. His wife Denise is a member of Point of Grace. Both Stu and Denise enjoy family time as well as many family sports including golf and basketball. The Joneses are members of Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood. Stu is passionate about medical missions and loves to travel with the intention to serve not only the body, but the mind and Spirit as well.
